DRAIN PORT ON AN INLINE FILTER

Raymond Masterson Mechanical Services Ltd were requested by a client to install the drain port on an inline filter.

The connection port on the filter was extremely short and was welded using GTAW Orbital Welding process with a 8-4000 AMI weld head and a mushroom attachment.

The works that Raymond Masterson Mechanical Services Ltd provided on this project included the following:

• GTAW Orbital Welding
• Supply, Fabrication and installation of drain port on an inline filter
• NDT Visual Inspection of the welds was carried out, logged and a full documentation package handed over to the client.
