TRI CLAMP FERRULES

As part of Raymond Masterson Mechanical Services Ltd Shutdown works, we carried out the installation of Tri Clamp Ferrules for future expansion on a 6” SS316L SF-1 ASMEBPE Hot and Cold DW Header for one our pharmaceutical clients.

There was a limited time-frame to complete the project that included cutting into the existing header. As part of this shutdown project for our Pharmaceutical client, the following services were provided:

• GTAW Orbital Welding of 6” Ferrules to Header
• Square Facing of the pipework using a 6” GF Facing tool
• NDT Visual Inspection of Welds (Carried out by a Third-Party Inspection)
• Pressure Testing
• Degreasing and Passivation
• Documentation Package
